Here is a growing collection of machines I have built with other machine builders. Some were made by mailing materials back and forth, some were built by getting together at each others workshops.

I plan to have at least 2 get togethers here in Columbus each year for machine builders to come for the weekend and hang out and build machines with me for fun. I've done this a few times and it's a lot of fun as well as inspiring. Any planned events will be posted in my news section and are only available to experienced machine builders who can prove they are just that.

These were a re-build project for Jim Allchin of Island Ave. Tattoos in Pittsburgh. I believe the machines were originally made by someone in Argentina but were not very well constructed. I cut them apart and re-welded them to get better geometry and then carved and made some new components for them. If you have a machine that needs work let me know and I can let you know what I can do for it.

I went to Texas the beginning of October 2004 for a machine builders meeting with some builders from around the country. Thanks Todd for the hospitality....great party and food plus machines. Doesn't get any better. I forgot to get pictures of myself there so technically I wasn't there. Had fun anyway.

This was a machine carving contest put on by Aaron Cain. The idea for the contest was to carve the frame provided but I thought it would be more fun to fabricate some new stuff and carve all that up. Jan. 2004

Had a few buddies over to my place May of 2004 for some late night building and lots of beer.

Had another get together beginning of June 2004. More late night building and more beer. I see a pattern forming.

The fun part was burning off most of my arm hair when the lighter fluid suddenly decided to make a flame ball in the grill (didn't get that on film). And check out the cool sneeze-guard on my carving area!!
